How to register:
Please follow the steps below to register for our Online Courses for Educators.

From the list of “Available Courses” (located on the WCS e-learning home page; in the center column toward the bottom of the page), select the title of the course for which you’d like to register.

You will be redirected to another page. It is IMPORTANT that you select the correct course name, otherwise this process will not work .

FOR OUR SIX WEEK COURSES

>> If you’ve been a WCS e-learning participant before …

a. Simply use your previous username and login information to enter MOODLE.

b. You will be prompted to submit your payment for the course. The course cost is $300 for the WCS Registration Fees ($275 for early registration) Graduate Credit with Adams State College is processed separately.

c. Once you have finished entering your payment information, click “Send Payment”.

d. At this point, you’re almost finished! As soon as we receive your payment, we will finish the process on our end. Once your registration is fully processed, we will send you a message to let you know that you have been officially enrolled and further directions about how to start your WCS e-learning experience.

>> If you are new to WCS e-learning …
-
a. You will need to “Create a new account”. Simply follow the directions on the screen to create your WCS e-learning account.

** enable pop-ups in your internet browser for the account creation process.

** when you are creating a new account, a toolbar will appear beneath your regular menu bar. Right click on this and select "enable Blocked content." This will allow you to complete a required field (re CAPTCHA verification) before the account can be created. This is for security certification purposes.

b. Once you have filled in all the information, click on “Create my new account”. Another message will appear, instructing you to complete the process by clicking on the link emailed to the address provided.

c. Check your email for a message from WCS (the sender might appear as “unknown sender” and double check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see the email within a few minutes). The subject line of the email should read “Wildlife Conservation Society Professional Development: account confirmation.” Click on the link to complete the new account registration process. This will open up WCS’s MOODLE site again.

d. You will see the list of our “Available Courses”. Once again, select the title of the course for which you’d like to register.

From the list of “Available Courses” (located on the WCS e-learning home page; in the center column toward the bottom of the page), select the title of the Webinar you'd like to attend.

>> If this is your first time with WCS e-learning... you will need to create a new account. Just follow the directions provided to create your account and be "enrolled".

>> If you've already been a WCS e-learning participant... simply use your username and password to "enroll".
